The Research and Development (R&D) Department of Afra Vandad Iranian Company is entrusted with the responsibility of advancing the technological capabilities of company in line with product development. This involves addressing challenges the product design and manufacturing process, formulating technical knowledge in the company’s specialized areas, identifying and expanding the use of cutting-edge technologies in the cycle transforming ideas into products, and optimizing products. The development of in-house specialized software, simulation of manufacturing processes and product performance using Finite Element Method (FEM) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods with the use of specialized industrial software in the design and production domain, selecting materials for machine components in accordance with the processes and standards of the oil, qas, and petrochemical industries, and analyzing equipment degradation are among the capabilities of this department.
